Labs

Falk Research Center, School of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.  Mechanical design for renovations to 8,000 square feet of the first floor of this three–story biomedical laboratory research building.  The upgrade will allow the facility to meet current codes and increase the number of wet lab bench spaces by replacing a series of small, enclosed lab and office spaces with large, contiguous, open labs.  Offices are  converted to laboratory support spaces for new equipment including fume hoods, refrigerators, freezers, and centrifuges.  The work is being completed in five phases to allow for continuous operation.  Our work began in 2001, with Phase III constructed in 2004.
